How to Teach Afraid Students with Virtually 100% Success
There's a new paradigm for teaching swimming and teaching afraid swimming students: teach them comfort and control. Out of comfort and control, many swimming skills emerge spontaneously. This paradigm provides a body of information that's essential for all swimmers, children and adults, afraid and not afraid, in order for them to remain in control in water and be as safe as possible. Our teaching has stopped every instructor in their tracks and given them powerful new capabilities. No skeptic goes home unchanged.

You will see the full system in action during the online training and throughout your 6-day hands-on training (dinner plus the 6 days of training). Your 6-day training includes observing and participating in the entire Miracle Swimming Beginning Class. You'll continue to learn after your training in the field and during four monthly one-hour teleconferences that support your in-the-field teaching for the first half-year. When you finish the Full Training, you'll understand The 5 Circles Teaching Method, a new paradigm in teaching. You'll be able to teach our introductory half-day "mini-class" (an opportunity for prospective students to learn about the system, have significant breakthroughs, and sign up for the Beginning class), Beginning class and our Next Step class. The combination of the latter two classes takes a student to freedom in deep water and readiness to learn strokes from you, regardless of where they began. They cannot find this level or rate of progress anywhere else, so 4000 adults internationally have told us since 1983.

The full training program is approximately 80 hours: online, classroom and warm pool. The book and DVD at the left are required reading and viewing before completion of the online training. (They are a small fraction of the training.)
At the hands-on training, there are morning and afternoon sessions each day. You will receive the 250-page online training manual including our 60-page handbook for students. The training class size is limited. You should plan 1-2 days of down time after completing the training in order to reorient yourself.
The goal is to embody the MSI system so that you can be as effective as MSI headquarters. Further training takes place with discussion of your class feedback forms once you open your own Miracle Swimming classes.
Licensees agree to teach the full Miracle Swimming course 3 times per year in order to keep the material fresh and to continue to learn it.

Licensing
The Licensing Agreement will be sent to you before your training. Please read it over and bring any questions with you to the training.
You may also train to teach our freestyle, snorkeling and scuba classes.
CEUs
8 CEUs are available for completing the online/6-day training. (Continuing Education Units)
Registrations are taken 40 days or more from the hands-on training to give you time to complete the online training, read the book, see the DVD, and review the Licensing Agreement.
