 When it comes to teaching
afraid swimming students, common
knowledge barely skims the surface. It's understandable, though: no
one knew afraid students had completely different needs from non-afraids. And until 2004, there had never been specific training for teaching
afraid students.
The Conquer Fear Instructor Training is material every swim instructor in the world should know according to our 4000 graduates internationally. It teaches people who otherwise never would have learned to swim how to be safe in deep water. This is how we can reduce preventable drowning to virtually zero, worldwide. |

| Our new trainings benefit the International Swimming Hall of Fame in a new partnership between ISHOF and MSI. The Hall of Fame's goal is that everyone learn to swim. It chose MSI to fulfill the part that is our area of expertise: afraid students and those who have not learned in traditional lessons: 64% of American adults, and unknown numbers of children. The rest of the world will benefit, too. |
