Sample our work, have a breakthrough or 3, and decide
to continue either on your own with your new tools, or in our full Beginning Swimming class.
The first
90 minutes are on land. Discuss "what happened?," what beliefs you came to have, and how to fix them. The next 2 hours are in a 93 degree pool (Berkeley).
MSI shows you how to get started, how to use what you learned in the
first 90 minutes of class in the pool. Have an experience of
water that you've never had before. Last half-hour is a recap of what you
learned and a discussion about how to continue either on your own or with
MSI's swim classes. Bring a bag lunch, suit, towel, pen, and goggles if
you already have them. Goggles will be available at class for borrow or
purchase. Our instructional video and book can be purchased if you wish
to "take
the class home with you." The Introductory
Half-day Mini Swim Class is not a prerequisite for the Beginner Swimming class.
Breakthroughs guaranteed or
your money back. This class
reveals what the actual problem is, teaches about fear and
how to prevent panic. Our work is
a radical shift from what you've tried before, an essential break from
the teaching
of "mechanics-only."
